Welcome to Willesden and Brent Chess Club!

The borough of Brent. Red X in Barnhill marks our Chalkhill Community Centre venue and red X in Mapesbury marks our Cricklewood Library venue.

We are a small and friendly chess club, that welcomes people of all ages and ability and from all walks of life. We organise chess games for all levels of ability, set up club competitions and provide tuition to juniors. We also enter local chess leagues and members compete in inter-county matches.

We are operating out of two venues on Mondays and on Wednesdays.

Every Monday, except Bank Holidays, from September 1 to June 30. At Cricklewood Library, 152 Olive Road, London, NW2 6UY

Main Session (Players of all abilities welcome): 6pm-9pm.

Junior Coaching: 6pm-7:15pm except for school and public holidays.

Monday April 3 – Social chess only. No Junior Coaching/Competition.
Monday April 10 – CLOSED (Bank Holiday)
Monday April 17 – Social chess only. No Junior Coaching/Competition.

Willesden and Brent Chess Club have been recognised by the ECF as a Development Pathway Junior Club. The award acknowledges the level of support and opportunities given by the club to its juniors to develop and consolidate their understanding and love of the game of chess.
